Senior Supervisor for Day Service

We are currently seeking highly-motivated Senior Supervisor to join our Day Service Team in Carlow. We are looking for individuals with a high degree of understanding and commitment to our service users and to Delta Services.

The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for providing day-to-day personal care and support for the learners of Delta Centre. They must have the desire and share our belief that the person with an intellectual disability has something unique, equal and important to offer society. They will be responsible for ensuring that the person/s we support have good, high quality, safe, meaningful, and inclusive lives.

Job Type:

  • Full Time / Permanent

Pay: €33,788.00 – €46.789.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the delivery of services to people with intellectual disability
  • Management/leadership experience within a healthcare setting is desirable

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • A QQI Qualification in Social Care or equivalent
  • A recognised management qualification is desirable.
  • Full driving licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • Ireland (required)

Team Leader for Day Services

Delta Centre provides residential, respite, training, day, and multi-sensory services to adults with learning disabilities.

The Team Leader will support service users to become as independent as possible in daily life-skills, working on individual programmes for each service user with a multi-disciplinary approach.

The person appointed to the post should be flexible in their approach to service provision & should have the ability to work as a member of a team. They will be required to take an active part in ensuring that the day to day running of the person’s Day Service reflects the Vision and Mission Statement of the Delta Centre and that the needs of the service users are being met. The person appointed will be working on their own with support provided by the Senior Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €33,630.00-€48,465.00 per year

They must have the desire and share our belief that the person with an intellectual disability has something unique, equal and important to offer society. They will be responsible for ensuring that the person/s we support have good, high quality, safe, meaningful, and inclusive lives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • FETAC Level 5 or 6 Qualification in Health Care.
  • Experience in a similar role working w/adults with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
  • A good level of IT and administrative skills.
  • A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence
