These are developmental opportunities so there is no experience necessary.
Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 19.5 Hours per week, location Delta Centre Carlow.

We are currently recruiting internally for a Team Leader for our Residential Services. This is a Specified Purpose Maternity Leave Cover
The role may be Full Time – 156 hrs per 4-week roster or Part Time – depending on requirement of Organisation / Staff arrangements. (Shift, evening, weekend work and on call will be involved in this role).
The Team Leader will operate at a middle management level, and as such the position holder will be expected to operate with low levels of supervision and in a consultative manner with their line manager when key decisions are being made
Qualifications & Experience
- QQI Level 8 Degree in Social Care/Social Care Studies or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualification social care experience in the area of intellectual disability is required.
A strong commitment to caring and an empathetic understanding of those with an intellectual disability are essential attributes for this role. The successful candidate will need great people skills, be flexible and have experience with rapid and complex changing work environments.

Co-operating with the Social Care Leader they will be responsible for ensuring that the learner/s we support have good, high quality, safe, meaningful, and inclusive lives. The prime consideration at all times must be the interests and well-being of the individuals availing of our services and the belief that the person with an intellectual disability has something unique, equal, and important to offer society.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 7 or Level 8 Social Care Qualification or relevant field
- Experience working in a similar role working w/adults with an intellectual disability is desirable
- A good level of IT and administrative skills.

Care Assistants – Residential Service
Delta Centre provides residential, respite, training, day, and multi-sensory services to adults with learning disabilities. Service users attend from Carlow and surrounding areas. Delta Centre is an integral part of Carlow and employs up to 170 full and part-time skilled health and social care staff.
We are recruiting Care Assistants for our Residential Service.
Qualifications & Experience
- FETAC Level 5 or 6 Qualification in Health Care.
- Experience in a similar role working w/adults with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
- A good level of IT and administrative skills.
- A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence
