Day Service Senior Supervisor
Delta Centre provides residential, respite, training, day, and multi-sensory services to adults with learning disabilities. Service users attend from Carlow and surrounding areas. Delta Centre is an integral part of Carlow and employs up to 196 full and part-time skilled health and social care staff.
We are currently seeking a full time Day Service Senior Supervisor, who will be for providing day-to-day personal care and support for the learners of Delta Centre. They must have the desire and the belief that the person with an intellectual disability has something unique, equal and important to offer society.
Qualifications & Experience
- QQI Qualification in Social Care or Equivalent
- A recognised management qualification is desirable
- A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the delivery of services to people with intellectual disability
- Management/leadership experience within a healthcare setting is desirable
- A good level of IT and administrative skills.
- A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence (driving forms an integral part of this role)

They will be responsible for ensuring that the person/s we support have good, high quality, safe, meaningful, and inclusive lives.
Job Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract – Full-time hours
Qualifications & Experience
- FETAC Level 5 or 6 Qualification in Health Care.
- 6 months experience in a similar role working w/adults with intellectual disabilities.
- A good level of IT and administrative skills.
- A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence is desirable

The Social Care Worker (SCW) will be responsible for providing day-to-day personal care and support for the learners of Delta Centre. They must have the desire and share our belief that the person with an intellectual disability has something unique, equal and important to offer society.

Qualifications & Experience
- Level 7 or Level 8 Social Care Qualification or relevant field
- Experience working in a similar role working w/adults with an intellectual disability is desirable

Delta Centre is an integral part of Carlow and employs up to 170 full and part-time skilled health and social care staff.
We are currently recruiting a Nurses for our Residential Service.
A strong commitment to caring and an empathetic understanding of those with an intellectual disability are essential attributes for this role. The successful candidate will need great people skills, be flexible and have experience with rapid and complex changing work environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be a Registered ID, General, or Psychiatric Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
- A proficient level of IT and administrative skills.
- A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence

This is a developmental opportunities so there is no experience necessary.
Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 19.5 Hours per week, location Delta Centre Carlow.
